performance socks for conscious consumers
We’re "hipSwan" - a new UK-based brand offering performance apparel for conscious consumers. We launched on 1st October 2021 with our online shop at www.hipswan.com.
hipSwan has been crafted from the outset for consumers who support ethical and sustainable brands. Our guiding principle is: "how would we design products and develop our brand if our customers were our family and friends?"
Based in Brighton, England, our first product launch (essentially, Batch No. 1) is a selection of four sock styles designed for active lifestyles:
- "chill" - a no-show sock made from organic combed cotton with a high needle count, seamless toe, and silicone heel grippers to help them stay up.
- "flow" - an ankle sock made from organic combed cotton with a high needle count and silicone grippers on the outer soles and inner heels as well as a compression band, ideal for activities like Pilates or yoga.
- "dash" - an ankle sock made from merino wool featuring a seamless and cushioned toe, cushioned sole, blister tab, y-heel and compression band, ideal for running.
- "roam" - an ankle sock made from organic combed cotton with a high needle count, ideal for everyday use.
Our products are made in limited-edition batches in order that we can focus on essential materials, suppliers and technologies, and also minimise our environmental footprint. They feature top-quality, natural materials like organic combed cotton and merino wool, combined with a sleek, modern look.
